Swimming with the Fishes

There are some days when I like to wear an item that makes me giggle.

Case in point: These necklaces from Forever21.

I bought them many moons ago on a business trip (sifting through the piles of mass produced, low quality items at F21 looking for gems is a great way to blow off steam after a day of meetings) and they make an appearance every few months – mainly on days when I need a bit of a pick me up.

I like pairing them with either a plain black sweater, or with my blue silk scarf – I think it adds to the aquatic look.

But what’s so funny? I’ve given them names:

This little guy is ‘Before’

And this little guy is ‘After’
